For every new phase of life, we need to reimagine it, make new decisions, have the courage to step into the unknown! What I see, and have done myself way too much, is NOT SAYING NO enough, not resting when I needed to rest, not being gentle to myself when my mind and body screamed for a break, waiting too long with making decisions, waiting to be 'saved' ..and worst of all: being afraid to be me..

I HAVE DESIGNED WHAT I NEEDED MOST AT THE TIME:

meaningful gatherings, a place where we can look and recognize our habits and patterns, to slow down, to listen to your body's secrets, to rethink, reorganize, relearn. To feel safe and free of judgement.

Just imagine you: You feel less compelled to seek validation from others

  • Celebrate your uniqueness and being kind to yourself

  • Try new things, put that bikini on, go for that date, apply for that job..

  • Set an example to younger generations that they are not obliged to criticize and hate their body like they see others do

What I see, and have done myself way too much, is NOT SAYING NO enough, not resting when I needed to rest, not being gentle to myself when my mind and body screamed for some TLC, waiting too long with making decisions, waiting to be 'saved' ..and worst of all: being afraid to be me..(nobody ever told me I can!).

We have been taught from an early age to be successful, practical, safe, accomplished and pragmatic. We have learned to follow the thinking head rather than our hearts’ desires and to operate inside the box of what we know we can achieve, rather than risking the unknown territory of what we truly want.. It’s not just about reaching a goal, it’s about your aliveness, insight and personal experience that’s truly fulfilling.

We need to honor not just the DOING side of ourselves, but the BEING.

The DOING in us is courageous, has clarity and conviction, takes charge and implements wise effort in achieving goals. The BEING in us is curious, intuits, listens deeply, is aware and nurturing. We need to take the time for reflection in order to get clear on what really matters to us and let that be the motivating energy force to waking up and living a truly authentic life.

SOMETIMES THE HARDEST THING AND THE RIGHT THING ARE THE SAME.

Every human body tells a story and as we begin to understand it we may want to try to rewrite the narrative. Emotions are a natural part of life. They’re not negative or positive. They’re just signals trying to lead us in the right direction, based on our values and beliefs.

Our emotions are yet another way that we’ve evolved to address our needs, express ourselves more, live more creative and fulfilling life, communicate feeling to others, finding talents and passions you didn't know you had! 

UNCOMFORTABLE emotions are particularly intense because they’re trying to jolt us into action.

They’re trying to prompt change. When you ignore or suppress your those unpleasant emotions, you dismiss their message and don’t take the necessary action to change what is wrong. This means you continue to feel unhappy. It’s in our best interest to really feel all emotions. To give them the attention and appreciation they deserve, because they’re trying to help us be happy and healthy.

I believe it’s important to learn how to decrypt those emotional signals. Once we know what they’re trying to tell us, we can meet them in a healthier, more beneficial way.

 

Sometimes, we find the right words and phrases to describe our emotions and feelings.

But sometimes we don't. And the reasons are:

  • We don't know how we feel.

  • We have mixed feelings and we can sort them out.

  • We know how we feel but we are afraid to voice it.

  • We have emotions but no feelings vocabulary to express them.

  • We have feelings that don't translate easily into words to express emotions we have to feel them first.

Explore your emotions and learn about:

  • Purpose of your emotions

  • Creative ways to express all emotions

  • Ways to bring calm back into your life

  • Strategies to manage stressful situations

  • Tools to regulate your nervous system

  • Create healthy boundaries 

  • Why not try befriend emotions altogether?

People tend to store their unwanted emotions in different parts of the body. For one it may be shoulders and for other the head. Locating physical discomfort caused by stored emotions can become a regular meditation practice. It's a great relaxation technique, as well as a way to access emotions you're having trouble identifying.

 

With the creative arts expression you will embark on an adventure of exploring feelings through art: drawing, music, sound, movement, writing, and more...It's a treasure hunt to find your real feelings and you will be consulting with your body for insight.

No matter how small or inaccessible someone's movements or expression may appear, the potential for expansion and connection through the body is always possible.

Integrative Life Coach combines a diverse range of healing modalities in the areas of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness to make helpful changes in all areas of life.

During our time together we will try and explore different ways that feel most comfortable for you however, in saying that, it's not a social gathering, we will step into the uneasy territory, face challenging block or beliefs, look for resolution and plan ahead.

Your sense of safety is paramount for me, so at avery stage of the process you will be in charge of the pace, depth, quality of the session. This stems from my certainty that you hold the wisdom to your growth, you know how fast or how slow you are ready to move and I am there to nodge you, offer cues, gently guide you, cheer for you! 

In my work with clients I utilize variety of means such as accessible breath work practices, carefully crafted tools and activities for stress relief and anxiety and other uncomfortable emotions, exercises to promote confidence, expressive arts, ways to empower changes in habituated patterns of thoughts, feelings, behaviours.. to name a few.

 

This relationship is a partnership, which means you’ll need to come to the table with an open heart and mind. My coaching is all about real talk.
